About Me
I'm Elias Hardt, a videographer, photographer, and gaffer from Anchorage, Alaska and currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. My journey through film started in elementary school, making stop motion Lego films with self-recorded sound effects ("Pow!"). Fast-forward 13 years and I've graduated from ASU with an honors degree in Environmental Design and extensive experience in film and photography for clients including Alaska USA Federal Credit Union, ATHENA International, and Spaces of Opportunity, with Maroon and Gold Entertainment, and in staff roles at Sender One Climbing in Los Angeles and Barrett, The Honors College in Phoenix.
I'm inspired by puzzle box films like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and I Saw the TV Glow – films that dance with the elements of film to create stories that couldn't be told any other way. If I'm not on set, you can find me on top of something tall, making 3D art, or composing music as Skylight Syndrome. Or maybe all three at the same time. I love to do, see, and create innovative things with film, and if you're reading this, you probably do too. Let's get in touch.
What I Do
01
VIDEOGRAPHY
I have over four years of expertise in videography, with a diverse background spanning corporate and short film production, bringing a unique perspective to every project. Whether it's capturing the essence of a brand in a corporate video or weaving a compelling narrative in a short film, I've honed my craft to deliver exactly what you want – or better.
02
PHOTOGRAPHY
From corporate events to creative portraits, my work focuses on blending technical precision with artistic vision to deliver images that resonate. Whether it’s freezing a fleeting moment or crafting the perfect shot, I bring attention to detail and creativity to every frame.
03
LIGHTING + CREW
With three years of experience in film lighting, I've developed skills in setting up and operating lighting equipment to achieve the desired visual mood and atmosphere for every scene and scenario. I collaborate effectively to ensure the lighting design aligns with the creative vision of the project, or any other role you need me in.
